Every day of Cherry Festival stop into KidzArt for a 1 hour class every hour on the hour. Each day we will be doing a new project using a variety of mediums and materials. Only $7 per student for the hour long class. Registration is not required, first come, first served. For more information call KidzArt at 231-421-1222.

Style Your Sole

To help celebrate the Cherry Festival, Glik’s will conduct a Style Your Sole party in conjunction with TOMS shoes.
The event will take place July 2nd during the festival, and will feature local Traverse City artists personalizing every pair of TOMS shoes purchased at Glik’s that day. Local artists will have the opportunity to share their art, add work to their portfolios, and use each pair of TOMS shoes as a blank canvas.
In addition to each customer getting the opportunity to have their TOMS shoes customized by a local artists, all pairs purchased will mean that a child in need will be giving a free pair of shoes courtesy of the TOMS One-for-One campaign. A wide variety of TOMS shoes will be available for purchase.
Glik’s Traverse City store is located on 206 E. Front Street and will host the Style Your Sole event on July 2nd from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. The event is a perfect opportunity for the people of Traverse City to celebrate local artists, support their community, and give back to those in need throughout the world.
