Support the Downtown community that supports you! The DTCA offers the following programs for downtown merchants:

  • Promotion: The DTCA supports the continued prosperity of our downtown through marketing and promotion efforts: Downtown TC website, social platforms, paid advertising, brochures, PR, and more.
  • Community Events: These cherished events, hosted by the DTCA, help to design our downtown identity and create repeat visitors. Special events include Street Sale, Friday Night Live, Shop Your Community Day, Light Parade, Traverse City Restaurant Week, shopping events like Ladies’ and Men’s Nights, and more!
  • Downtown Employee Discount Cards: DTCA members can enjoy 10% at participating fellow DTCA members’ businesses. Just show your card to save and support local!
  • Gift Certificates: Millions of dollars sold through the DTCA that stay directly downtown!Parking: (2) Half-off parking passes are available for the Old Town Deck.
  • Annual DTCA Celebration, Toast to Downtown: The Downtown gets down… together! Raise funds while celebrating the people, places, and partnerships that make our Downtown so special.
  • Business Retention and Attraction (in conjunction with the DDA): Work with community stakeholders to find space and enhance the downtown business climate.
  • Primary Care: Discounted rates for employee direct primary care through Table Health
  • Member Events: We’re working on a new series of member roundtables and gatherings designed to help you network, stay informed, and grow within your community

How to Sign Up:

  1. Ensure that your business is within the DTCA district boundaries.
  2. Please complete the form at the link above or here. If you have questions, email Director of Events & Engagement Sara Klebba at sara@downtowntc.com.
  3. Please send a high resolution JPEG file of your logo and image representative of your business to sara@downtowntc.com. We will use one option for your website listing.
  4. After we receive your registration form, we will email you an invoice for payment.
  5. You will be invoiced for the new fiscal year beginning July 1 each year. Payment will be expected electronically at that time. You will be billed annually for your membership until it is canceled. You must cancel at least 30 days before the next billing cycle via email: sara@downtowntc.com.
  6. Membership dues are non-refundable.
